How Carrie Healed Long-Held Trauma and Shoulder Injury with the Spinal Flow Technique

Carrie knows what it means to carry grief in the body. After a profound loss in 2012, she turned to yoga to help soften the pain. That path led her to open a yoga studio and dedicate herself fully to teaching. But over time, the physical demands developed a repetitive strain injury in her left shoulder.

Despite her deep body awareness as a yoga therapist, the pain wouldn’t go away. Everything changed when she began the Spinal Flow Certification Program.

During the Immersive, Carrie experienced a significant shift. Her shoulder pain began to ease. The trauma she had unknowingly stored in her spine began to release. And with that release came something she hadn’t felt in a long time—freedom of movement, and a deep sense of ease in her body.

Now a certified Spinal Flow Practitioner, Carrie has opened her own clinic, helping others heal from trauma, pain, and postural issues. Her journey from grief and injury to healing and empowerment is a testament to what’s possible when the body is given the space and support to heal.

Carrie’s story is a reminder that healing is possible, no matter how long you’ve been carrying the weight.
